Message from the District Officer
Superintendent John Quilter
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the members of Ballintotis Community Council and Community Alert Scheme for their foresight displayed in this new initiative which is being supported by our Community Gardai here at Midleton Garda Station.
We hope that, over time, we will be able to keep you informed of incidents that are occurring in your area, and methods you can adopt as a Community to counteract any anti-social activity or criminal activity in our District. We will then work together to design-out anti-social hotspots and take action that will deter criminals and prevent and detect crime.
An Garda Síochána in Midleton District are currently striving to increase our involvement with the local Communities and we see this venture as a measure to keep you, our Community, informed of what is going on in the area. An Garda Síochána is grateful for the opportunity to appear on your web site and to offer this service to you.
Our hope, going into the future, is to make our Community a safer area to live in. We look forward to working with you to achieve this aim.
John Quilter, Superintendent
